TENDER NOTICE FOR DEVELOPING MOBILE APPS SOFTWARE....
Sealed Tenders are invited to develop Mobile Apps software for Product and services information system, consumer enquiry & complaint handling and management system, and integration with the existing CRM deployed at the NCH Call Centre. The software should be platform neutral to be compatible with Android, I Phone / I Pad, Blackberry and Windows mobiles for smart phones and Tablet based mobile.

National Consumer Helpline
NCH is a project of the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, operating from the University of Delhi.The project recognizes the need of consumers for a Telephone Helpline to deal with a multitude of problems arising in their day-to-day dealings with business and service providers.

NCH provides a National Toll Free No-1800-11-4000 (for BSNL/MTNL Users), Other users can dial- 011-27006500,27662955,56,57,58 (normal call charges applicable). SMS to 8800939717 can also be sent mentioning the name and city .

A consumer can call to seek information, advice or guidance for his queries, complaints and guidance.

National Consumer Helpline supports consumers by:
- Guiding consumers in finding solutions to problems related to Products &
  Services.
- Providing information related to Companies and Regulatory Authorities.
- Facilitating consumers in filing complaints against defaulting Service Providers
- Empowering consumers to use available Consumer Grievances Redressal
  Mechanisms, Educating Consumers about their Rights and Responsibilities.

PERFORMANCE REPORT January - 2014

The total no. of dockets made / updated from calls handled at Call Centre, SMS received along with Complaints registered online at NCH Website during January, was 5847.3612 calls were received at Toll free number, 620 dockets were made / updated from outbound calls to consumers from the helpline and 2235 complaints were reported on NCH Website - Online Complaint Management System. These calls are included in the total of 5847 calls handled in January 2014.

The total consumer detriment in the month has been computed at Rs. 5, 50, 24,756 for 1492 dockets. This was calculated on the basis of average consumer detriment value in each sector. This month value wise, the top four sectors are Real Estate, Legal, Automobiles, and Products.

Website www.nationalconsumerhelpline.in has registered a total page hit count of 1, 48, 338 during January 2014. There has been an upward trend ever since the online complaints facility was launched. Read More...
